Adela María Bolet has an eclectic artistic career as a Spanish dancer, opera singer, and actor based on a wide-ranging international education in Europe and the Americas. She has played lead roles in independent films and a principal role on Law and Order SVU in an episode also featuring Sharon Stone and Isabelle Hupert. She also played the role of Alva Rivera in the Netflix series Jessica Jones with David Tennant and Krysten Ritter. Adela played the innkeeper in the award-wining stage production of La Strada. Other Theater roles include The Pickle Queen, Bodas de Sangre, New Science, Mad Woman of Chaillot. Her directing career includes.  The Judge by John Suss, a historical play about slavery in the deep South, a collaboration with James Pyecka on his Livin’ the Dream, and Hello, Ocean by J. Lois Diamond — all produced a Polaris North. Adela is a founding member of AENY – Spanish Artists in New York.
